ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Strategic Sourcing Planning: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials, components, and services. Routinely reviews pipeline with internal business leaders and coordinates engagement across other phases of supplier lifecycle.
- Inventory Management: Monitor raw material markets and global sourcing trends to inform procurement decisions
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to support manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards . Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings and value.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and supplier performance to proactively manage supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Quotations and Cost Management: Review, act on, and execute sales team requests for quotations, managing direct and indirect spending while driving year-over-year cost reduction initiatives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Establish supplier performance metrics (KPIs) and lead regular business reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Provides guidance and support to the manufacturing site(s) purchasing team for clear alignment on category strategy execution, supplier communications and messaging, supplier performance escalations, and other supply chain activities.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement practices align with company policies, ethical standards, and sustainability goals.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
REQUIRED SKILLS- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, BOMs, and quality systems.
- Experience in global sourcing or working with international suppliers is plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional industry experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
- 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement in a manufacturing environment preferred.
