GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Assembles bellows for expansion devices, as laid out in drawings by performing the following duties.

JOB DESCRIPTION                               

  • Selects appropriate inventory as specified on the Bill of Material
  • Shears strip and forms tube in a predetermined order.
  • Machine welds seams and telescopes tubes as laid out in drawings and routers.
  • Bumps and rolls tube to form corrugated bellows.
  • Checks dimension and spring rates as specified on prints.
  • Preps bellows, trims neck, welds end fitting, sizes bellows, as required by drawings and routers.
  • Moves finished bellows to appropriate area for testing.
  • Supports receipt of raw materials; prepares and packages finished goods.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of the Quality Management System policies, goals, and objectives after training. Assist with systems based on Lean principles and practices to meet or exceed the requirements of the established QMS and all other standards required to serve our target markets.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in Metal Industry. Blueprint reading highly desired.

EDUCATION

  • High school Diploma or GED
